During the days before the 2024 Australian Grand Prix of Formula 1, the British driver spent an intense test day on kart at the Oakleigh circuit, a few kilometers far from Melbourne.

A day dedicated to karting for Lando Norris at the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club. The McLaren Formula 1 Team driver, who was in Melbourne to compete for the Australian Grand Prix, faced the Australian circuit, located not too far from the capital city of Victoria State, driving his LN Four, the chassis of LN Racing Kart brand, born from the collaboration with OTK Kart Group.

On Tuesday 19th March 2024, Norris had fun driving his own direct drive kart, powered by ROK GP by Vortex Engines, the engine division of OTK Kart Group, accompanied for this occasion by his friend and ex driver Max Fewtrell. The English had the chance to enjoy at the circuit and he could also train in view of the GP program this weekend.

At the Oakleigh track also come Keegan Palmer, the Australian skater and gold medal at 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, who had the chance to feel the emotion of LN Four kart, under Norris’ careful supervision.

Since his first years in the karting world, Norris has been leaned on OTK: with the chassis of the Italian company (brought on track by the British Team Ricky Flynn Motorsport) Lando gained the CIK-FIA European Karting Championship titles and WSK Euro Series in the KFJ category (today OKJ) in 2013, and, in 2014, the CIK-FIA Karting World Championship in KF (today OK).
